Community Outreach Specialist


Support team in achieving goals by providing World-Class service through community outreach, events, and social media.
Serve as a role model for building relationships with customers.
Maintain community presence through connecting with local organizations, bloggers, businesses, and partnerships.
Create and maintain an inspiring social media presence, connecting with customers through brand awareness, product engagement, etc.
Plan and execute successful store events, community events, and company events.

Build brand and store awareness through marketing and social media platforms through daily postings to highlight product, promotional offerings, in store environment, company culture, local community, etc.
Plan and execute in store events for customers and vendors
Plan and execute community events to build brand awareness outside of store.
Contribute in management and store meetings, offering suggestions for community outreach development, sales opportunities through marketing and social media, and event planning and execution.
Maintain brand standards, including merchandise presentation, social media content, marketing, etc.
Perform projects and assignments as directed by the Assistant or General Manager

1-3 years retail experience preferred
1-3 years marketing or social media

Sales Associate
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.


Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards.
Achieve established sales and contest goals.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
Assist customers with special services including: gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits.
Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions i.e., sales, returns, and exchanges.
Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standard
Straighten, clean and help maintain stockroom as needed.
Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

1-2 years retail sales experience, (specialty retail preferred, but not required.)
1-2 years customer service experience.
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
Casual associates must be available to work a minimum of three regularly scheduled shifts, and be available to work anytime on either Saturday or Sunday. Associates must be available for annual inventory, holidays and entire holiday season (November and December).
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Ability to operate POS system.

Assist Visual Manager in facilitating floorset and weekly visual updates in alignment with brand standards.

Enforce best practices daily within visual and operations for consistency.
Ability to execute and enforce 7 visual standards effectively on a daily basis.
Create innovative ways to drive business with visual displays and inventory levels available.
Ensure current marketing image and signage direction are implemented correctly to ensure consistency.
Uphold and maintain stockroom organization.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Ability to be mobile on sales floor for extended period of time.
Ability to compete visual tasks while meeting or exceeding sales goals by keeping the client first.
Ability to meet or exceed levers.
Superior Organizational skills.

Must be available to work hours within these times: Tues-Thurs and Sunday from 7am-4pm. Associates must also be available for annual inventory, summer holidays and the entire holiday season (November and December). Flexible hours during visual floorsets required
